SUMMARY:Atariada 2026
DESCRIPTION:Since 1996 Atariáda has been an annual meeting of users and fans of historic computers of (but not limited to) the Atari brand\, organized by Atari Club. This year there will be a presentation of news\, release of the next issue of Flop magazine\, miscellaneous small competitions\, network and multijoy games\, etc. There will also be an Atari game corner not only for children. \nUnlike some of the other Atari fans’ meetings\, this event does not involve competitions in production. It is mainly a friendly meeting of people who know one another remotely and who usually only communicate with each other using the Internet. It is also opportunity to meet new\, similarly „afflicted“ people. Some of the participants who are particularly active bring along their own computers or game consoles. However\, the number of the tables is limited\, so we cannot guarantee a table to visitors who do not have booked their table through the registration form. \nEntrance fee for 1 day is 200 CZK (7.50 EUR)\, for more days it is 400 CZK (15 EUR). \nIn order to keep the highest level of comfort for appropriately behaving visitors the organizers reserve the right to exclude persons behaving aggressively\, inappropriately or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The extent of aggressiveness or being under the influence is to be decided by the organizers. Those who are not planning to behave decently are not welcome to visit this event. Furthermore we would like to point out that the whole building is a non-smoking area.

DESCRIPTION:PLatariada is (since 1997) a yearly meeting of users and upholders of (not only) Atari historical computers. Now organized by Atariklub. \nThis event (unlike some others) is not concerned on coding competitions. It is mainly a friendly meetup of people who know each other over internet. And there is a possibility to meet new people who are „handicapped“ in the same way. Active Atarians bring their own computers or game consoles. The number of tables is limited\, so it is better to let organizers know how much space you will require. \nPLatariada is situated in a group of scout cabins (opposite the „Pasovska 16“ house). The area is grassy and fenced. Those who does not want to sleep in a cabin\, can sleep outside or build their tents. The environment is good even for children. \nEntrance fee for 1 day is 50 CZK (2 EUR)\, for more days it is 100 CZK (4 EUR). \nIn order to keep the highest level of comfort for appropriately behaving visitors the organizers reserve the right to exclude persons behaving aggressively\, inappropriately or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
