SUMMARY:Atariada 2026
DESCRIPTION:Since 1996 Atariáda has been an annual meeting of users and fans of historic computers of (but not limited to) the Atari brand\, organized by Atari Club. This year there will be a presentation of news\, release of the next issue of Flop magazine\, miscellaneous small competitions\, network and multijoy games\, etc. There will also be an Atari game corner not only for children. \nUnlike some of the other Atari fans’ meetings\, this event does not involve competitions in production. It is mainly a friendly meeting of people who know one another remotely and who usually only communicate with each other using the Internet. It is also opportunity to meet new\, similarly „afflicted“ people. Some of the participants who are particularly active bring along their own computers or game consoles. However\, the number of the tables is limited\, so we cannot guarantee a table to visitors who do not have booked their table through the registration form. \nEntrance fee for 1 day is 200 CZK (7.50 EUR)\, for more days it is 400 CZK (15 EUR). \nIn order to keep the highest level of comfort for appropriately behaving visitors the organizers reserve the right to exclude persons behaving aggressively\, inappropriately or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The extent of aggressiveness or being under the influence is to be decided by the organizers. Those who are not planning to behave decently are not welcome to visit this event. Furthermore we would like to point out that the whole building is a non-smoking area.

DESCRIPTION:Atari Invasion feiert 10-jähriges Jubiläum in Maarssen \nSeit 2017 organisiert ein kleines Team niederländischer Atari-Fans jährlich eine Atari-Show in Maarssen bei Utrecht. Da dieses Jahr die zehnte Ausgabe gefeiert wird\, wird diesmal besonders groß gefeiert. Neben einer großen Ausstellung verschiedener Atari-Produkte werden diesmal mehrere Konsolen und Computer aufgestellt\, an denen Besucher kostenlos spielen können. Natürlich ist auch der bekannteste Atari\, der 2600\, dabei\, aber auch weniger bekannte Spielkonsolen wie der Stunt Cycle aus dem Jahr 1977 und Super Pong aus dem Jahr 1976. \nAuch die Heimcomputer-Reihe darf nicht fehlen\, wie die Atari XL-Serie und die Atari ST-Serie. Beide Serien waren in den 80er und 90er Jahren in den Niederlanden sehr beliebt. Neben der allseits bekannten Spielkonsole 2600 werden auch der Atari 5200 (nie in Europa veröffentlicht) und der 7800 die nötige Aufmerksamkeit erhalten. \nDie weltweit erste 64-Bit-Konsole\, der Atari Jaguar\, und der erste Handheld mit Farbbildschirm\, der Atari Lynx\, können bei dieser Veranstaltung ebenfalls ausprobiert werden. Aber auch die neuesten Entwicklungen kommen nicht zu kurz. Verschiedene Homebrew-Produkte werden vorgeführt und auch die neuesten offiziellen Atari-Produkte werden zu sehen sein. Seit zwei Jahren hat Atari nämlich die 2600+\, die 7800+ und die Game Station erfolgreich auf den Markt gebracht und es sind etwa 20 neue Spiele für die Spielkonsolen 2600 und 7800 erschienen. \nAm Nachmittag wird Dion Olsthoorn einen Vortrag halten. Dion hat drei 2600-Spiele herausgebracht und wird in seinem Vortrag darüber berichten\, wie er das bekannte Spiel Lode Runner auf den 2600 übertragen hat und wie er die offizielle Genehmigung des Unternehmens erhalten hat\, das die Rechte an diesem Spiel besitzt. \nDie zehnte Ausgabe von Atari Invasion findet am 21. März im Gemeindezentrum ‚t Schuurtje\, Zwanenkamp 3101 in Maarssen\, statt. Der Saal öffnet um 10:00 Uhr und schließt gegen 16:00 Uhr. Der Eintritt ist frei. Now organized by Atariklub. \nThis event (unlike some others) is not concerned on coding competitions. It is mainly a friendly meetup of people who know each other over internet. And there is a possibility to meet new people who are „handicapped“ in the same way. Active Atarians bring their own computers or game consoles. The number of tables is limited\, so it is better to let organizers know how much space you will require. \nPLatariada is situated in a group of scout cabins (opposite the „Pasovska 16“ house). The area is grassy and fenced. Those who does not want to sleep in a cabin\, can sleep outside or build their tents. The environment is good even for children. \nEntrance fee for 1 day is 120 CZK (5 EUR)\, for more days it is 240 CZK (10 EUR). \nIn order to keep the highest level of comfort for appropriately behaving visitors the organizers reserve the right to exclude persons behaving aggressively\, inappropriately or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. DESCRIPTION:PLatariada is (since 1997) a yearly meeting of users and upholders of (not only) Atari historical computers. Now organized by Atariklub. \nThis event (unlike some others) is not concerned on coding competitions. It is mainly a friendly meetup of people who know each other over internet. And there is a possibility to meet new people who are „handicapped“ in the same way. Active Atarians bring their own computers or game consoles. The number of tables is limited\, so it is better to let organizers know how much space you will require. \nPLatariada is situated in a group of scout cabins (opposite the „Pasovska 16“ house). The area is grassy and fenced. Those who does not want to sleep in a cabin\, can sleep outside or build their tents. The environment is good even for children. \nEntrance fee for 1 day is 120 CZK (5 EUR)\, for more days it is 240 CZK (10 EUR). \nIn order to keep the highest level of comfort for appropriately behaving visitors the organizers reserve the right to exclude persons behaving aggressively\, inappropriately or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The extent of aggressiveness or being under the influence is to be decided by the organizers. Those who are not planning to behave decently are not welcome to visit this event.

DESCRIPTION:Since 1996 Atariáda has been an annual meeting of users and fans of historic computers of (but not limited to) the Atari brand\, organized by Atari Club. This year there will be a presentation of news\, release of the next issue of Flop magazine\, miscellaneous small competitions\, network and multijoy games\, etc. There will also be an Atari game corner not only for children. \nUnlike some of the other Atari fans’ meetings\, this event does not involve competitions in production. It is mainly a friendly meeting of people who know one another remotely and who usually only communicate with each other using the Internet. It is also opportunity to meet new\, similarly „afflicted“ people. Some of the participants who are particularly active bring along their own computers or game consoles. However\, the number of the tables is limited\, so we cannot guarantee a table to visitors who do not have booked their table through the registration form. \nIn order to keep the highest level of comfort for appropriately behaving visitors the organizers reserve the right to exclude persons behaving aggressively\, inappropriately or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The extent of aggressiveness or being under the influence is to be decided by the organizers. Those who are not planning to behave decently are not welcome to visit this event. Furthermore we would like to point out that the whole building is a non-smoking area. \nTransportation\nTrain:\nFrom Olomouc main station take passenger train on the track 301 (towards Blatec\, Prostějov) and get off at Nemilany stop\, which is situated about 1 km from the venue. Furthermore you can use bus line no. 17. \nUrban and suburban buses::\nAlways get off at “Slavonín\, křižovatka” stop\, which is situated about 100 meters from the Sokol house. The stop is serviced by: \n\nline 17 towards Nemilany;\nline 28 towards “Technologický park” or Nedvězí;\nsuburban line 780411 towards Lutín\, Bystročice\, Olšany or Nedvězí.\n\nThere is no direct connection from the main station to Slavonín. You can change to the above lines eg. at the Tržnice stop (tram lines no. 1\, X4\, 7 go there from the main station)\, at the “Zenit/Povel škola” stop (serviced by buses no. 12\, 19\, 26) or at the “Smetanovy sady” stop (serviced by train on the track 309 towards Senice na Hané\, Drahanovice\, Prostějov). \nTram:\nLines 1\, X4 and U\, towards Nová Ulice. Get off at Pionýrská stop\, which is situated about 1 km from the venue. \nCoaches:\nSome connections coming from Brno or. Prostějov over D46 motorway stop at the Pionýrská stop\, which is situated about 1 km from the venue.

DESCRIPTION:For those that are in the vicinity of The Netherlands: \n  \nWe’re preparing for the 8th edition of our annual ‚Atari Invasion‘ of the HCC Commodore sig meeting in ‚het Schuurtje‘ (Zwanenkamp 1301\, 3607NZ Maarssenbroek). This year we’re going back to an early era in the history of Atari\, the 70s.\n\nWe will cover a lot of the early consoles\, such as the Touch Me\, (home) Pongs and others. There will be icons like the VCS aka 2600 and of course the early home-computers known as the Atari 400 and 800. It is also highly likely that modern reproductions like the  ‚2600+ ‚ and  ‚The Atari 400 mini‘ will be part of our presentation\, along with modern home-brew games\, demos and Rasta conversions.\n\nAs every year\, there will be games\, demonstrations and lots of time for socializing. Want to join in on the fun as part of the crew\, let us known. If you just want to take a look around\, we will be in ‚het Schuurtje‘ (Zwanenkamp 1301\, 3607NZ Maarssenbroek) all day on April 20th 2024.
