Technical Manual Sio2USB
von Marius » So 21. Nov 2010, 18:44Hi,
For Sio2IDE 3.3a I wrote a few small tools which are very handy for (personal) use.
I want to make these tools also for my Sio2USB but now I need technical information. Where can I get that information?
I need the sio commands to control the drive settings on Sio2USB.
One of my uses is this:
I'm using the MyPicoDos created by HiasSoft. I have plenty of games and demo files on this partition, and yes: that works fabulous.
But: some games need a disk, and a lot of nice demos need a disk (some demos are devided in a A-side atr and a B-side atr).
In my situation (with Sio2IDE 3.3a and my own tools) I have for every diskbased program a tiny program. Let's say the demo Joyride of HARD.
There is a small programm in my Boot Partition called JOYRIDE.COM
This small programm puts the JoyrideA.ATR on D1: and the JoyrideB.ATR on D2: then it reboots the computer.
Extremely cool. I want to create this for Sio2USB.
Another example.
When I am going to program some software. I have a mac/65 boot disk on D1: a sources partition on D2: and a tools disk on D3:.
So from PicoDos I start the tiny tool: prgrming.com and pfffffrrrrrttttt My SioIDE3.3a sets these 3 disks on the right places and reboots the computer.
It is wonderful, and so simple.
I'm the proud owner of a few SIO2USB's and I want to use them a lote more. So I hope someone can tell me where to get the technical info's.
