Already wrote Dietrich, but perhaps someone else knows already...

When I am in YASH and by accident I press ESC (in stead of shift-ESC or ctrl-ESC) ... some functions appear to be dead (most functions). Is this a feature (lock the keyboard) or is this a bug?

ESC is ignored if pressed by accident. No other functions are dead thereafter. Please put a reproducable step by step example here!
