Hi Carsten

I want to know if that ABBUC USB Master Cartridge is able to connect/accept and see
a usb HD drive or a USB stick so I can boot my Atari 130xe from them or run programs from them?

Thanks

Araldo

Hello Araldo,

accessing USB Harddrive and USB memory sticks is technical possible from the ABBUC USB Cartridge, but no-one has written a driver for that so far (I have a prototype, but nothing in production quality). So if you are not planning to write such a driver yourself, I would recommend a device like SIO2USB or SIO2SD, which can be used to boot an Atari from an USB Drive or an SD-Card.

The USB-Card is best used today for USB HID Devices (Joystick, Mouse, Steering Wheels ....)

Best regards
