SpartaDOS X 4.43 will be basically a cleaned up 4.42 - no killer new features, just an update to fix whatever was to fix in 4.42. But, since there are still some unfinished drivers (like new XEP80.SYS), it will take some time to complete the release version. Nevertheless, if anyone is interested in receiving beta-builds of 4.43 (they're marked 4.42a, 4.42b etc., the current one is d), please send a PM to me or trub with the e-mail address. We'll make a distribution list (bcc of course), and periodically send new builds as something new gets coded.

Ich habe mir am Wochenende endlich mal mein intSDX gebastelt, funzt auch alles sehr gut - so macht SpartaDOS eher Spaß.

Allerdings würde ich gern ein Flash einsetzen... kennst jemand noch eine Quelle für die drei möglichen Flash-Bausteine, die unterstützt werden? Atmel 29C010, Winbond 29EE010, Intel 29F010. Ein testweise versuchter Winbond 29EE011 geht schon nicht mehr, es scheinen also wirklich die drei zu gehen.

Vielleicht hat ja jemand noch alte PC Boards rumliegen, wo einer dieser drei Flash-Typen als BIOS drauf ist...?

tfhh: if the flasher has a problem recognizing your flash ROM chip, please contact trub via his website http://trub.atari8.info - perhaps it will be no problem adding the chip type you used to the list known to the flasher program.
