1)
Bomber does not run on 48K atari's, which should be supported. Is there something with the Packer?

2)
Joystick Mastah seems not to be playable as it should. I see weird messages like (NULL) in the game, the timer goes so lightning fast, and I lose lives faster then blinking with my eye.

I tested also with a fresh downloaded disk, same issues.

I'm not sure whether abbuc supports atari 400 and 800, so perhaps that complaint about 48K is not valid (although the game does say it supports 48K)... but that joystick game... that seems to be a real problem.

Well,

1) Bomber was packed with Code3 Cruncher, the packed program therefore requires 64k RAM to load (it uses RAM under the OS for depacking and/or storing data). In fact, all ML programs of the ASC 2015 are packed, either with C3C or with Superpacker (Exomizer or Deflate), just to save disk space. Abbuc has 400 members, thus the ASC programs have to fit on as few disks as possible.

The ASC rules only support Atari XL and XE machines because they are more or less standard here in Germany (except 1200XL) and Atari 400 and 800 computers are uncommon, if not rare. I do not even own a 16k, 32k or 48k machine, so I can never test a program on a real Atari with less than 64k RAM. Maybe the authors of Bomber will release an unpacked 48k fileversion of the game after the contest.

2) Joy Mastah was delivered as a compiled TB XL game, it was already linked into a stand-alone *.COM/*.XEX file with the CTB-linker. The game is what it is, do a search for Sikor`s self-programmed TB XL and compiled TB XL games and you will notice some similarities between these games and Joy Mastah. Maybe the game was made so fast intentionally, but maybe Sikor forgot to slow it down in TB XL, so that it runs at normal speed in CTB. If you do not like Joy Mastah, simply express it with your vote.

1) Of course; I understand that you try to fit everything on as less as possible disks. I would have done the same. I was just confused because the game stated that it should work on 48K

2) I was under the impression that the game did not run well. Obviously this is indeed the game...

Alright,

I contacted the admin to upload the unpacked version of "Bomber" in the member area. This may take a while.

The ZIP file which I did send him contains three files: a) the unpacked ASC 2015 version with all pictures and intros (length approx. 58 kbytes), b) the unpacked version with just one picture, the title picture (length approx. 49 kbytes) and c) just the unpacked game program (length approx. 40 kbytes).

Let`s wait and see if and when this becomes available in the member area.
