I have no idea at the moment.

But the main-idea of LiteDOS is to keep it as light/tiny as possible.
So adding HSIO is out of the context.

At the other hand, if your high-speed patch is includes on the BIOS-level, it should work.
LiteDOS uses BIOS-resources only, so all IO is done by the BIOS, hence, HSIO should be done too.

OK, I just tested on my own Atari-BIOS-Rev2/HSIO + speedy 1050 and it works.

Altirra and 800XL PAL/NTSC.
Probably you did not use LiteINIT correctly, I have to make that fool-proof next time.
It does not check if the version is correct before loading....
Your FRE(0) is 37902, can't be right.

1.08 is also almost ready, working on the BIOS with LITE build-in.
Bonus are fast math routines and HSIO (my version).

Oh, beside D1:*.* typing 1 is much easier.

LiteDos ist viel anders, als bekannte DOS (Dos2.5, BiboDos, MyDos)
aber es macht Spaß

Yes, MD = 1020 sectors free.
I only need 15 for LiteDOS and 4 for the VTOC/Directory = 19 total.
Last sector is unusable, to be compatible with others.
So 720-15-4-1=700 and 1040-15-4-1=1020

Rename:
Be sure both names are 11 characters and you have the same separtor as end.
So when you use "." dot, both separator and end must be dot, 11 characters in between.

I have also uploaded BIOS-REV2 patched with LiteDOS and a HSIO version.
Both have FastMathPack (FMP, the alternative FloatingPoint-package).

To bypass LiteDOS booting from BIOS, hold SELECT.
Then it will normally boot from SIO

The ESP8266 is a cool device, cheap and gives you a WiFi-modem.
The interface I built is Rverter compatible, so all Rverter supporting software will work.

Ich habe LiteINIT im Emulator mit Dos25 und BiboDos 5.4RN in Single/SD und Medium/MD probiert.
Es war ok.

Ein Test mit BiboDos 5.4FN konnte ich nicht machen, dieses DOS geht nicht gut im Emulator.

Das Kopieren Emulator <-> FDD macht mir Probleme ...

Aber das ist nichts von LiteDos, sondern liegt bei mir

Wie gehen Formate, welche ein DOS nicht unterstützt?
zB. DD oder QD mit LiteINIT mit DOS25

LiteDOS does not support formatting in QD or DD, sorry.
It format is 128 bytes/sector.
When you select Others, you can format partitions on HDD/CF-media.
This does not physical format the drive, it writes LiteDOS and an empty VTOC/directory.

In read-mode, it can read DD disks, but no QD. To support reading from other DOSses.

SD-90k is the "default" format, 720 sectors Single Density room for 24 files.
The 90k/8 means the formatted disk can only hold 8 files.
It has to do with the LiteDOS sector-layout.

LiteDOS uses sector clusters for data and directory, minimum is 2, maximum is 128.
90k/8 uses clustersize 2 where 90k uses clustersize 4.

In theory it is possible to create a 90k/56 disk.
So 720 sectors with room for 56 files using clustersize 8.

But on average having room for 24 files on a disk is enough, 8 is an option for large files, 56 would make no sense.
