I live near Aachen and I like to attend at the ABBUC meeting due to a small handicap I can drive that far by car so I was thinking of going by train. Could someone tell me which train-station I must have in Herten (if there is any ?)

I use the train to "Wanne-Eickel Hauptbahnhof" and take the bus to Herten from there (the bus station is directly in front of the railway station).

Another possibility would be to travel to Recklinghausen (and then also take a bus to Herten from there).

According to www.bahn.de the bus numbers are SB27 from Wanne-Eickel and 249 from Recklinghausen.

BTW: Like last year I'll arrive friday evening (18:50 in Wanne-Eickel) and stay at the hotel "Vestischer Hof". It's quite a long trip from Salzburg...
