Zuerst hatte ich heute mal das Problem ein Netzteil für ne 1050 zu finden.
Nachdem die Suche endlich von Erfolg gekrönt wurde, da kam das nächste Problem.
Ich wollte per acc120 Images vom Magazin erstellen, damit ich dann das SIO2USB oder SIO2SD damit füttern kann.
Aber da tauchte direkt der Error #144 auf der Seite A des Mag 125 auf.
Ernüchterung machte sich breit.
Dann hab ich erstmal noch ein paar Andere Sachen erledigt.
Vorhin hab ich dann nochmal mein Glück versucht.
Mit dem Sector-Copier der Speedy 1050 vom Compy-Shop liess sich die Seite A dann problemlos kopieren.

Bin so richtig im Neugier Fieber und kann nicht warten, bis die ATR des Magazins 125 hier erhältlich ist. Hat hier jemand eine funktionierende ATR des Magazins der Seite A?,

Die DVD ist industriell hergestellt!
Die alte Jahresgaben DVD war per PC vervielfältigt worden.

diesmal ist das MAGAZIN auch pünklich in Berlin eingetroffen --- Donnerstag Vormittag .
Das traf sich gut, denn im Magazin war ein Beitrag von Gunnar "Buchrezension RESUME .." --das habe ich mir auch gekauft und interessiert gelesen. Am Abend 20 Uhr ging ich zur UNI-Berlin -Signallabor Stammtischtreffen "Verein Classic Computing..." und traf dort den Autor des Buches Dr. Stefan Höltgen persönlich und konnte ihn Gunnars Beitag zeigen und auch meine Meinung (sehr positiv) dazu besprechen.

Vielen Dank auch an die "Macher" der DVD.
Mit der Diskette und meiner XF hatte ich keine Probleme.
Insgesamt wieder und besonders der Sonderausgabe DVD ----- viel Stoff für ATARI

Komme gerade aus dem Urlaub,..

daher konnte ich beide Datenquellen noch nicht anschauen,..
es freut mich, dass ich dieses Jahr auch bei der Jahresbeigabe dabei sein durfte...

Derzeit liegen noch zwei Rechner auf dem OP-Tisch,.. danach werde ich die 1050 aber anwerfen...

Auch bei mir ist das Paket angekommen. Habe mir noch nicht die Zeit gegönnt, mir die DVD und die Diskette an zu sehen, aber beide Papierbeilagen hab' ich mir schon angeschaut.

Im ABBUC Magazin ist von Alfons ein Artikel in dem er so umfassend beschreibt wer alles an der DVD beteiligt war. Aber einen hat er vergessen: Sich selbst!

Lieber Alfons, vielen Dank, dass Du so unermüdlich "ABBUC in a box" entwickelt und zusammengetragen hast. Das ist wirklich toll geworden!

This is my first post here as an ABBUC member. Unfortunately, I do not speak German but I wanted to support ABBUC and the great software that arrives every year because of your contest.

I was wondering if it would be possible to post the original files for the articles to the magazine to this forum. If it was in PDF or text format, it would be easy for me to take the German text and use Google Translate to receive an English translation. I realize the translation would be faulty, but it would be better than attempting to learn German at this late date.

Welcome in this forum .

As a member you can login in to the members area to read the hmtl-ized versions of older booklet inserts. All prints are available in digital form on the DVD "ABBUC in a box". So I guess it shouldn't be any problem to have them translated by whatever service.

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, the HTML versions of the newsletter appear to end at issue 108. I did not see any issues after that. I found the HTML versions under Membership/ABBUC Magazine. I would look at the ABBUC in a box, but it would not help me for any newsletter issues in the future. I was very impressed by how good the printed magazine looked.

As I said, I would understand the magazine better if I could translate it. However, the main reason I joined ABBUC is simply as a "Thank You" for your software contest and what you contribute to the 8-bit community.

Highly recommended as approx. 50% of all booklet inserts are available as originally exported PDF up to magazine no. 123. It is easy then to hand it over to a translation program. If the wording of your preferred translation service does not really fit I recommend bing translator and for some special words bab.la.

This is something currently out of my hands. The PDF for "ABBUC in a box" where a hell of a job and I hoped someone would take it over for the issues to come ...
