A talented Polish electronics engineer nicknamed 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐮𝐬 has just developed another version of his card – the "𝐒𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝟑", which will premiere on the 𝐒𝐕𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓𝐖𝐄. This is a hardware card that emulates the GTIA for the 8-bit Atari. It has the form of a board and is mounted in place of the GTIA custom chip. At the heart of the device is a MAX II CPLD chip from Altera. The change in the "Sophia 3" compared to the "Sophia 2" is the addition of an S/PDIF digital input and an HDMI output.
In conjunction with the official launch of this device at SV, Simius's son will participate in a panel discussion on the topic.
"Sophia 3" will be available for purchase at the party (price to be announced soon), and it can also be won in one of the contests for an Atari XL/XE.

Ein talentierter polnischer Elektronikingenieur mit dem Spitznamen Simius hat eine weitere Version seiner Karte entwickelt – die „Sophia 3“, die auf der SV2025WE Premiere feiert. Diese Hardwarekarte emuliert den GTIA für den 8-Bit-Atari. Sie hat die Form einer Platine und wird anstelle des GTIA-Custom-Chips montiert. Herzstück des Geräts ist ein MAX II CPLD-Chip von Altera. Die „Sophia 3“ unterscheidet sich von der „Sophia 2“ durch einen zusätzlichen S/PDIF-Digitaleingang und einen HDMI-Ausgang.
Anlässlich der offiziellen Markteinführung auf der SV wird Simius’ Sohn an einer Podiumsdiskussion zu diesem Thema teilnehmen.
