Election of the auditor

Our auditor Holger Hinterschitt will be leaving this office. Candidates for the office of auditor are being sought for the JHV 2026. It makes sense to elect several auditors in order to have a substitute, e.g. in case of illness.

Motions to amend the statutes

Information on the motions

The motions were submitted by members. Motions from members who serve on the board were submitted in their capacity as members and not as motions of the board.

The motions were adopted as submitted by the respective applicants and were not changed by the board. Changes can only be incorporated into the statutes if they are in line with German association law. Each motion is a unit. Only all changes in the motion can be voted on together, not individual changes (unless options are specified by the applicant in the motion). Changes to a motion must be submitted as a new motion in advance of the next JHV.

The motions to amend the statutes have also been published for discus- sion in the forum, in the members’ area „Current information“ (https://forum.abbuc.de).

We ask all members to take part in a discussion of the changes ahead of the JHV, so that the motions can be voted on at the JHV.

Motion 1 - Honorary membership

Applicant: Mathy van Nisselroy

(new) §2.3 Honorary membership

The members’ assembly may appoint members or other persons who have rendered special services to the club as honorary members. If there is an important reason, honorary member-ship may be revoked again. In both cases, the resolution of the members’ assembly must be passed with at least two thirds of the votes.

Motion 2 - Fees

Applicant: Mathy van Nisselroy

(new) §3.6

Honorary members are exempt from the obligation to pay fees, but retain all rights that regular members have.

Motion 3 - Financial year

Applicant: Alexander Klinner

(new) §3 Financial year (the following paragraphs are shifted back by one number accordingly)

The financial year runs from October 1 to September 30.

Justification: With this amendment to the statutes, the practice followed since the club’s founding is anchored in the statutes in a legally secure way.

Agenda item „Any other business“

  • Mathy van Nisselroy proposes appointing Wolfgang Burger as the first official honorary member.

ABBUC JHV 2026 online participation

The ABBUC members’ assembly as part of the JHV 2026 will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Bürgerhaus Süd and in parallel online on the internet.

The video conference system is based on the open-source software BigBlue-Button, is hosted in Europe with minimal data collection, and works with We-bRTC technology in modern browsers.

All you need is an up-to-date web browser.

Due to association law (votes), participation in the JHV is only possible after registering with your real name. The ABBUC board will check the registrations against the member list; only current ABBUC members can take part in the JHV.

The JHV will start at 11:00 am CET; dial-in opens at 10:00 am CET.
