So I loaded up the menu from disk #155 and it has an entry for TB XL uDOS. However, when I select it, it brings up the Font Mixer program. Is that correct? I expected it to be Turbo BASIC. There's no information in the magazine about this entry and what it's supposed to be.
thanks
Randy

Re: Magazine 155 - uDOS
Well,
simply read the documentation for uDos. There the special version of TB XL (for uDos) is mentioned.
By the way, the Fontmixer program only runs under TB XL. So, when the Fontmixer is loaded from the magazine menu, you are already in TB XL. Press Break and type NEW to use TB XL any way you want.
Journey: "Any way you want it, thats the way you want it..." (with lead voice by Steve Perry).
And if you want to load Autorun.Bas from TB XL, load a disk/sector editor, search in the file (on the disk) for D:Fontmix.TUR and replace it with D:Autorun.Bas (I did it the other way around).
Have fun!
