Suche Strip Poker auf Kassette

Hallo Fred!

Die Kassette von Strip Poker hat auf Seite A ein anderes Model, als wie auf Seite B.
Daher ist es sehr wahrscheinlich, dass die einzelnen Blöcke auf der Kassette unterschiedlich sind zwischen A und B.

Ich besitze auch eine Kassette von Stip Poker, die leider ebenso nicht funktioniert. Evtl. macht es Sinn wenn man von unterschiedlichen Kassetten sich die WAV-Dumps erstellt, um dann so eine funktionierende Version zu erhalten?

Ich muss mal schauen, wo ich meinen alten WalkMan habe, damit ich die Kassette digitalisieren kann

Auf Atari preservation gibt es die U.S. Gold Version, und Charlie Chaplin meinte doch, dass die U.S. Gold Version mit der Americana Version identisch ist...
Ich habe auch noch die gleiche Kassette, die Tigerduck auf dem Bild hatte, allerdings ohne Hülle. Ich gehe also davon aus, dass es auch die Americana Version ist. Notfalls könnte ich davon auch Wave Files ziehen...

Yes, you are right. Sorry, I did not read all the messages...

Strip Poker US Gold is the same cassette as the "Americana" release. Just like several other Americana releases (for example Drop Zone) the Amricana release came with the US Gold tape. A friend of mine owns the Americana release and his one also contained the US Gold tape. I have in my collection the US Gold tape too, the one on Vinted was a spare

The US Gold tape was dumped for the A8preservation project. So it is an option to get the audio files from them and record those on a new tape that can put into the old shell.

Aber das HiFi Tape zieht das Band normal durch. Da ist wohl der Motor stärker.

Wenn das Band in einem HiFi-Deck läuft, versuch´ doch mal mit einem zweiten HiFi-Deck (mit manueller Aussteuerung!) eine Kopie der Kassette anzufertigen.

I have downloaded the audio files of Strip Poker from the a8preservation project. If anyone needs the files to record them on a new tape, please send me a private message.

To be clear: this is the US Gold tape release, which is the same as the Americana release.

Danke an alle für eure Tipps, ich werde vielleicht das ein oder andere noch versuchen. Strip Poker scheint ja eine Menge Leute hier zu interessieren...
Aber ich denke, ich werde wohl das Angebot von Fred annehmen und mir die Audio Datei von US Gold auf ein neues Band spielen und in die Original Kassette einlegen.

But I think I'll probably take Fred up on his offer and play the US Gold audio file onto a new tape and insert it into the original cassette

Hi Stefan,

Take a look at your picture The label on your cassette IS the US Gold label There is no Americana cassette of Strip Poker with an Americana label, just like Dropzone. So your cassette housing is not an "Americana" housing. Americana used left over tapes from US Gold for Strip Poker and Drop Zone. A Strip Poker tape with Americana label does not exist.

So, dank der WAV-Datei von Fred habe ich jetzt wieder eine Original-Kassette die funktioniert!

Zum Glück konnte ich die Original Kassette ja zerstörungsfrei öffnen. Ich habe ein relativ neuwertiges Sony C60 Band eingesetzt und entsprechend gekürzt. Dann die beiden Seiten mit Melissa und Susi bespielt und es funktioniert!
Die Kassette habe ich wieder verklebt und nur bei genauerem Hinsehen erkennt man die Öffnungsspuren.

Ziemlich feinmotorische Arbeit, hat sich aber gelohnt.

So, thanks to the WAV file from Fred, I now have an original cassette that works again!

Fortunately, I was able to open the original cassette without destroying it. I inserted a relatively new Sony C60 tape and shortened it accordingly. Then I recorded both sides with Melissa and Susi and it works!
I glued the cassette back together and you can only see the opening marks on closer inspection.

Quite a lot of fine motor work, but it was worth it.

Die Forumssoftware hat kein Problem mit dem Titel, sondern das Anti-Spam Modul des Mailsservers gibt Warnungen, da bei jedem Post hier eine Menge E-Mails mit dem Titel versendet werden, und das triggert die "Anti-Spam" Erkennung. Autor der Anti-Spam-Software ist ein Russe.
