I'd like to revise or revisit the Revive 1027 project. I really want to get my 1027 working again.
I bought one of the Revive 1027 print heads some time ago when it was a thing. Unfortunately, it was very exacting in terms of how you had to put it on, and mine quickly got destroyed. Also unfortunately, I only bought one (I didn't think ahead very well).
Was anyone successful with getting theirs working again?
I've been unable to find the .STL files associated with this. Does anyone know where they are?
Has anyone remade these since that project a few years ago? I've been told that they could be printed in China with the resolution and quality needed to work. Has anyone tried that?
thanks!

Re: Revive Revive 1027
I´ve ordered and paid them at a German company, but never got them. So I´m done with that company.
Now have a 3D-Printer but still have to test, how flexible the flexible Filament that I bought actually is.

Re: Revive Revive 1027
I bought a printhead on eBay last year at this seller: https://www.ebay.de/usr/tectcm
Obviously he had some mats printed and sold it on eBay for 25 €. Seemed to be a one-time-shot, since he does not offer it at the moment.
As far as I could find out, the printing supplier was
www.rapidobject.com
3D-printing technique: "Polyjet"
Material: "Silicone GH1 Shore 65A"
I have still a 1027, which is not working - (see my post "Error 138"). Once I have fixed it, I'd try Rapidobject.
Maybe this helps?

Re: Revive Revive 1027
I don't want to discourage you, but with FDM printers (hot filament squeezed out of a nozzle) you will not have much fun in producing those.
The resolution is too low to have a meaningful result.
The "Polyjet" principle of Rapidobject is comparable to a 3D-inkjet print and delivers more precision and resolution.
