Man muss ja ein wenig Glück haben - ob sich ein Fragezeichen in -500 oder in+500 verwandelt, beeinflusst am Ende den HighScore.
Heute war das Spiel für mich großzügig - der neue HighScore ist 59600

Als ich nach dem ersten Level 6300 Punkte hatte, ahnte ich schon, dass ich in diesem Spiel mehr Punkte als üblich machen würde.
Den alten Highscore erst nach anderthalb Jahren geknackt…

Today I saw this amazing topic.

When I had to make a top 3 of most favorite Atari 8bit games ever, I am pretty sure Ocean Detox will be in it. I already loved "Bomber" in Atari Basic when I was a child. And somehow Ocean Detox is my absolute favorite sequel of Bomber, so it is awesome.

I love the collection of "goodies" to use in the "shark" levels at the end. If you have enough (everything on 9) the chance you will pass the game is virtually 100%.

The only problem I have is that sometimes I do not find the right "goodies" at all.

I was wondering whether the game could have a fifth collection item (the Ship UP) to be able to use it when you need it (even if you can only collect 1 or 2, to save for later).

And the game could be more difficult if it would even speed up a little more towards the end (so that even saving all the goodies would make it still a challenge to complete) or that for instance there could be "hidden" garbage that only could be destroyed with some kind of superbomb (or perhaps a barrel that needed 2 attacks) so that when the stack of barrels is exploding, it would stop of there would be a more stubborn barrel.

Ideas enough, but as said, this game... it is one of these games that since the introduction never has bored me.

Nein, das kann er leider nicht. Trotzdem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit ihm.
Der Bildschirm hat eine Auflösung von 2560 × 1080, ist damit ohne Skalierung gut lesbar, und das reicht mir für meine Einsätze: für die Arbeit, zum Filmegucken mit KODI und zum Spielen mit einem Atari (mit Sophia2).

Auf dem Schreibtisch tut sich ja nicht viel. Ich hätte gerne auch so einen aufgeräumten Schreibtisch

Auf dem Foto ist nur ein Teil meines Schreibtisches zu sehen.
Dieses Jahr habe ich endlich einen Adventskalender aus dem Jahr 2019 ausgepackt, und abends spiele ich ein wenig mit dem Raspberry Pi und einem Steckbrett.

This game has addictive qualities.
I got hooked on it thanks to Stefan Dorndorf.
Fun fact: the game is based on Ponorka, released in 2003 for PC:

In my opinion, the Atari port is much better than the original.
