We, the Atari Bit Byter User Club e.V. (ABBUC), are an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting ATARI's 8-bit computers.
We promote the development of new hardware and software through annual competitions, participate in events related to retro computers and beyond, repair and upgrade existing hardware, operate our own public-domain mail-order service, and publish a quarterly club magazine that is sent free of charge to all our members worldwide and is also available for download in English.
Whether you've just gotten your hands on an 8-bit ATARI computer (Atari 400, 800, 1200XL, 600XL, 800XL, 65XE, 800XE, 130XE, XE Game System) and are now wondering what you can do with it, whether you found one in the attic or basement, or whether you already had one back in the 1980s - you’ve come to the right place!
